How do I have a paper served by a Deputy Sheriff?
To have a paper served by a Deputy Sheriff, you must come to the Sheriff's Office located at 301 Fuller Street, Shakopee, Minnesota during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and provide a copy of the papers you would like served. Depending on what you are having served, there may be a service fee that needs to be paid prior to attempting service. For protection orders, you must petition the court to issue an order that the court will then email to the Sheriff's Office for service (no fee).
