Scott County Adopt A Highway Request Form

  1. The volunteer group agrees to pick up litter on a segment of county highway selected in consultation with the Scott County Highway Engineer. The recommended length is two miles.

The volunteer group agrees to a 3-year commitment to clean up their segment of roadway at least twice a year, in the spring and fall. The Physical Development Department provides safety vests and trash bags. The maintenance crew picks up and disposes of filled bags and other items.
