About the Crime Map
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office now provides a new way for the public to stay informed about crime in Scott County. Lexis Nexis Community Crime Map (www.communitycrimemap.com) analyzes and maps incident data and allows citizens to sign up for crime alerts.
Community Crime Map automatically syncs with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office’s records system to keep crime information updated online. It displays incidents on a map, grid and analytics dashboard along with some basic information about the incidents, including the type of crime, location type, block-level address, date and time.
