The Scott County Sheriff's Office thoroughly investigates allegations of employee misconduct or criticism of its services.

If you believe you have been mistreated or witnessed an action you suspect violates the Scott County Sheriff's Office policy or state statute, please take the time to register your complaint by contacting Captain Jeff Swedin at 952-496-8413 or by email.  You will be provided a Complaint Form that you can complete and return to the Sheriff's Office.

You will receive a reply within 10 business days and a complete explanation of the process by which your complaint will be investigated.  You will be told who will be investigating your complaint, how long the investigation may take, and how you will learn of the outcome.  Your cooperation during the investigation will be much appreciated.
