Extended Access provides access to the Library outside of staffed open hours at designated locations. At this time, we are piloting the service at the Jordan Library only.  

How does it work?

Customers scan their library card number and enter their PIN at an entry panel to unlock the door. Click here for a brief video demonstration. Once inside, they are free to use in-library resources and self-service equipment such as the self-checkout machines, PCs, printers, copiers, study rooms, and more. Note: Customers who wish to use meeting rooms in Belle Plaine, Elko New Market, Jordan, and Shakopee outside of staffed hours do not need to opt into Extended Access - see our Meeting Rooms page for details.
