Pre-registration for the 2024 Presidential Nomination Primary ended February 13, 2024.
If you missed the deadline, you may still register at the polls; Minnesota allows voters to register on Election Day at your polling place. You simply need to provide proof of residence or have someone from your precinct vouch on your behalf. Please review this Fact Sheet and bring one proof of residence listed.

You can vote early.
Vote early by mail. Fill out your ballot from the comfort of your home with an absentee ballot by mail. To do so, request an absentee ballot at mnvotes.gov.

February 13: PNP deadline to pre-register to vote
March 5th: Presidential Nomination Primary (polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
Scott County will also be hosting Absentee Ballot Board on Wednesday, January 24, then starting on January 30 it will be Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:30 PM. With the exception on 2/16/2024 Ballot Board and Ballot opening will be at 10 AM. Please join us in Room GW 166/167, located on the first floor of Government Center West (right off the atrium).
