COVID-19 Information Updated 3/20/20 10:00am
- We will continue to work during this time, and all applications, renewals, changes and other documentation will be processed in the order it is received, as usual. If you need to drop off paperwork, you may place it in our secure 24-hour drop off box that is located right outside our main office door at 752 Canterbury Road in Shakopee. It will be picked up every hour by County staff. You may also fax your paperwork to 952-496-8685, or email it to ScottCountyIncomeMaintenance@co.scott.mn.us

Child Care Assistance Programs (CCAP)
Paying for child care can be difficult as you look for a job, go to work or go to school to prepare for work. Scott County administers the State Child Care Assistance Programs (CCAP) according to Federal and State policy.

County Burial
If a Scott County resident dies without the means to pay for his or her own burial expenses, then an application can be completed by a family member to use County funds to pay for these costs.

The Scott County Fraud Unit actively pursues and investigates cases suspected of having fraudulent activity.

Our team determines eligibility and issues benefits for all mandated public assistance programs; this includes cash, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), child care and health care.
