Our team determines eligibility and issues benefits for all mandated public assistance programs. This includes cash, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), child care, and health care. We also determine eligibility for other County-funded programs.

Paying for child care can be difficult as you look for a job, go to work or go to school to prepare for work. Scott County administers the State Child Care Assistance Programs (CCAP) according to Federal and State policy.

County Burial
If a Scott County resident dies without the means to pay for his or her own burial expenses, then an application can be completed by a family member to use County funds to pay for these costs.
