2023 Overlays
This annual project is part of the Countywide pavement preservation program. Overlays are performed on a regular basis to preserve the initial paving investment and provide additional safety enhancements.

CH 21 & Revere Way Intersection Improvements
The City of Prior Lake, in partnership with Scott County, is making improvements to the intersection of County Highway 21 and County Highway 87/Revere Way. The purpose of these improvements is to create a safe intersection that accommodates future growth and development in the area.

CH 16 and Fuller Street Traffic Signal
This project includes the installation of a traffic control signal at the intersection of CH 16 and Fuller Street near Shakopee High School. Construction will include updated ADA pedestrian ramps and sidewalks in each corner of the intersection.

County Drainage Ditch No. 10 Repairs
The Scott County Drainage Authority, in partnership with Belle Plaine Township, is completing drainage repairs to the County Drainage Ditch No. 10 in Belle Plaine Township. The purpose of these repairs is to restore the ditch to its original design by cleaning the open ditch, replacing culvert crossings, repairing side slopes, and removing trees along the drainage easement.

MN 13 Savage to Burnsville Interchange Project
Scott County, the City of Savage and MnDOT have partnered to develop a long-term concept for roadway improvements along Trunk Highway (TH) 13 in the vicinity of Dakota Avenue and Yosemite Avenue. The project will address safety, access, and mobility issues within the TH 13 corridor and evaluate improvements that benefit freight movements to and from the Ports of Savage area.

Belle Plaine Downtown Improvement Project
The City of Belle Plaine is reconstructing much of the central business district, including segments of Main Street, Church Street, Meridian Street, and the alleys of Blocks 91, 92, and 103. This project is necessary to address deteriorating infrastructure that includes failing sewers and pavement as well as ensure safety and accessibility concerns for pedestrians and motorists. The project will better balance business access, pedestrian needs, and safety, creating a more complete system and connected environment.

Chaska Downtown Construction Project
The City of Chaska is leading the Downtown Highway 41 Project to achieve its vision of downtown revitalization that reflects and celebrates its historic character, traditional small-town atmosphere, and values. The vision for Highway 41 through downtown Chaska is a two-lane road with turn lanes that better balances roadway needs with the pedestrian space. The addition of streetscaping, pedestrian/bicyclist connections, and gathering spaces will create a more comfortable and inviting environment for all users. These improvements will preserve and enrich the downtown ambience while making it a popular destination and hub of the community.
