Homework HelpNow Online Tutoring: K-12 students and adult learners can get free help with homework and related skills online in English or Español from 1-11 pm seven days a week (closed on major holidays). The one-on-one live online tutoring includes math, science, writing, practice tests, test tutoring and more.

Learning Express Library: Practice tests in many areas including ASVAB, the ACT, the GRE, Postal Worker, U.S. Citizenship, Praxis/PPST, Civil Service careers, basic skills and many more.

LinkedIn Learning for Library: Formerly Lynda.com. Self-paced, on-demand video tutorials for learning business, technical and creative skills. Includes topics such as software, photography, animation, presentation skills, game design, digital publishing, and cloud computing.

Mango Languages: SCL's subscription to Mango has ended. We recommend transitioning to Transparent Language Online (see below).

Northstar Digital Literacy Certificate: Demonstrates basic computer and digital literacy skills to employers (or shows you where you may need further computer education). Areas tested include basic computer use, Internet, Windows and Mac operating systems, email, and word processing.

Transparent Language Online: Online language learning for over 80 languages and more than a dozen courses of English for speakers of other languages.

DigitalLearn.org: Offers free online classes covering computer basics - email, Internet searching, MS Word - as well as creating resumes, using Skype and Facebook, Internet privacy and scams, and even how to buy an airline ticket.

Driver's Permit Practice Tests for Minnesota: Free Minnesota driver's license and permit practice tests for cars, motorcycles and commercial drivers plus the manuals.

edX courses: Offers free online courses and classes from the world's best universities. Making an account to track progress is required. 

GCFlearnfree.org: Free online tutorials and classes in the basics of using computers and the internet and social media plus a variety of job and other essential skills. (Sitio en Español)
