Blakeley Bluffs Future Park Reserve
A future park reserve is planned in southwest Scott County along the Minnesota River bluffs. Known as Blakeley Bluffs, this future park is envisioned as a unique and extensive natural resource and recreational asset, characterized by large areas of continuous forest, stunning viewsheds with western sunsets, dramatic topographic changes, and high quality habitats of note on a regional scale.

The planned Doyle-Kennefick Regional Park has a mix of high quality native forests and wetlands, regionally significant wildlife habitat, beautiful scenery and outstanding opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve
Located near Savage, the peaceful wilderness at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve in northeast Scott County features glacial ridges, hilly terrain and an extensive, lush forest. This is one of the most challenging cross-country ski areas in the Twin Cities and a favorite spot for mountain bikers.

Spring Lake Regional Park
Spring Lake Regional Park is 373 acres in size with shoreline along both Spring Lake and Prior Lake. The park contains a diversity of natural habitats from lakeshore to Maple-Basswood forests. There is a small creek that winds through the park's diverse wetland complex that includes open water wetlands, cattail marshes, and a tamarack swamp.
