Scott County provides a large number of services to adult residents. Below is a select list of programs Scott County offers as well as information on community supports.

Adult Protection
The Adult Protective Services Unit, as an agent of the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services, is authorized to investigate the abuse, neglect and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, who resides in a community setting, and to provide protective services and community support to that person.

Employment & Training
Scott County Employment & Training can help residents obtain information on employment options, training for employment, and resources to gain employment.

Home & Community Care
The Home and Community Care Programs help people live in the community as independently as possible. Our services can help the elderly and people with disabilities, and their families, with service planning and getting the help they need.

Housing & Homelessness
Scott and Carver Counties, in partnership with local non-profit agencies, may have assistance for those who are currently experiencing homelessness or who are unable to afford their current housing.
