Join us at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve, Savage, and help restore the prairie by collecting native wildflower seed. Volunteers increase the amount and diversity of seed planted annually in over 1,600 acres of restored prairie managed by Three Rivers. Learn about the prairie’s rich history and how to identify many of the plants.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old or be accompanied by a responsible adult. Groups are welcome but must have at least one adult per eight youths. This program is free and registration is required. To register, call 763-559-6700. This program is open to ages 12+.
