[ARCHIVED] EXPECT SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC DELAYS ON HIGHWAY 169 AND 41 THIS WEEKEND

Everyone who is planning to attend the final weekend of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival (this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), please be aware that you will be encountering significant, lengthy traffic delays on Highways 169 and 41. ** There will be no alternate routes or detours available to visitors via local roads, and the only entrance/exit will be via Highways 169 and 41. Do not rely on mapping/routing applications in your car or phones as alternate routes, as local roads will be blocked and accessible only to local residents and businesses. **

We highly encourage everyone to consider using public transit, which will be conveniently and easily accessed via the Marschall Road Transit Station (1615 Weston Ct, Shakopee, MN 55379), which will be providing direct travel to and from the Renaissance Festival grounds.
