From Scott County Elections:
The Absentee Ballot (AB) voting process is open to viewing for citizens on Tuesdays and Fridays through election day (November 8, 2022) starting at 1:30 p.m. If you’re interested in learning more about the AB process and viewing the process as it takes place, please join our election judges and staff who work with elections. Additionally, please review the website at https://scottcountymn.gov/677/Elections-Department for up-to-date information, as viewing days and times may change.
If you choose to participate in the process as a viewer, please be aware of the following guidelines:
NO CELL PHONE OR CAMERA USE IS OR WILL BE PERMITTED. Step into the main hall if you need to use your phone for any reason.
THERE CAN BE NO QUESTIONS ASKED OF OR CONVERSATIONS WITH BALLOT BOARD MEMBERS. You may only direct questions to staff. Anyone sitting in pairs at the tables are off limits.
PLEASE REMAIN QUIET. Any side conversations must be moved to the main hallway.
STAY WITHIN THE DESIGNATED AREA. Viewers are not allowed to cross the barriers.
CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN BALLOT BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF ARE CONFIDENTIAL. You must stay at least seven feet from the Ballot Board area.
NO DISRUPTIONS WILL BE TOLERATED. Any violations will result in immediate removal.
