Join the Scott County Historical Society on Saturday, March 25 (6:30 - 9 PM) for a progressive semi-formal soiree celebrating the last few weeks of our exhibit, “Celebrate! Life, Love, & Community in Scott County.” After exploring the exhibit one last time at the museum, the evening will progress just a few blocks away to Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre, where light refreshments, activities, and a short program will be presented.
For tickets and more information, please visit scottcountyhistory.org/events/celebrate-soiree.
And there’s still time to see “Celebrate! Life, Love & Community in Scott County” at the Scott County Historical Society! Explore how we celebrate milestones in our lives and our communities—from baptisms to birthdays, from beauty pageants to barn parties—through the clothes we wear to them! Beautiful garments from 1880 to 2020 are on display, spanning generations of celebrations.
