The mission of the program is to promote the well-being of children and the self-sufficiency of families by delivering quality child support services.
As of July 1, there is no longer a $25.00 application fee to apply for Child Support Services. Contact the Scott County Child Support office at 952-496-8183 if you would like an application sent to you.
Both custodial and non-custodial parents can check the status of their cases by logging into Minnesota Child Support Online (MCSO) at www.childsupport.dhs.state.mn.us. The website also has a list of Frequently Asked Questions. You can also call the child support information line at 651-431-4340.
You can now make a child support payment online from your checking or savings account. You will need your participant ID and PIN number to register. Contact your child support officer for your participant ID and PIN. Log into www.childsupport.dhs.stat.mn.us for more information. General child support information is on the DHS Public Site at www.dhs.state.mn.us.
