“People Stories in the Park – 10,000 Years at the Landing” – it’s more than a pretty walk along the Minnesota River, the land that is now The Landing has a human history dating back thousands of years. Join a historical interpreter for a leisurely walk to discover tangible remains of the people who were here before it was a park. Cost is $9 and reservations are required by two days prior. There are two sessions: 10–11:30 AM, or 2–3:30 PM on August 20. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation. There is a 20 percent discount for groups of four or more. This program is for ages 8+ and children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
