On October 31st at approximately 7:55 pm, a fatal motor cycle crash occurred on Panama Ave. South of the intersection of 190th St. E. in Spring Lake Township.
Initial investigation shows that the vehicle in question (MC) was traveling South Bound on Panama Ave. when it attempted to pass another motor vehicle (TK) traveling in the same direction. The motor cycle while attempting to pass in the north bound lane was struck by a motor vehicle traveling north bound.
The driver of the motor cycle was pronounced dead at the scene by Allina Paramedics. The driver of the north bound motor vehicle was not injured.
The Prior Lake Fire Department, Allina Ambulance, Prior Lake Police Department and the MN State Patrol assisted Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies at the scene.
This accident is being investigated by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
