Posted on: May 10, 2018

May 5, 2018 (SHAKOPEE) –Scott County Sheriff Luke Hennen announced today that an arrest has been made regarding the hit and run crash in Credit River Township that occurred on April 29, 2018. Timothy Lee Biby (45), of St. Paul was arrested today in St. Paul by Scott County Sheriff’s deputies. He has been booked into the Scott County Jail on suspicion of 2nd Degree Assault.

On April 29, 2018, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a personal injury crash on 185th St East (CR21) near Hobby Hills Trail in Credit River Township. The reporting party, Grant Skluzacek (18) of Prior Lake, stated he was driving his motorcycle westbound when he was struck from behind by another vehicle. The suspect vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. The reporting party suffered cuts to his arms and legs and substantial damage to his personal property.

“We are confident that this arrest will provide the resolution in this case that the victim deserves,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen.  “I anticipate that people will have questions about this incident.  Many of these questions will be addressed in the charging documents, if and when they are filed.”

This matter is still under investigation and is being reviewed for potential criminal charges by the Scott County Attorney’s Office.
