Do you – like to garden... enjoy getting your hands dirty... like to feel a sense of accomplishment... want to contribute to your local community? You’re in luck! The Scott County Historical Society’s Museum Garden needs you. They need people to mow, weed, trim trees/bushes, edge garden beds, and basically help keep the garden healthy and clean. The Museum Garden (the only public garden in downtown Shakopee) has butterfly gardens, raised-bed pergola, shade trees, a wide open lawn area, brick walking paths, and benches. Please help keep it beautiful for all to enjoy. If you have a few hours to spare, they have openings that fit your schedule. Please contact Rose at rjames@scottcountyhistory.org or 952-445-0378. Your volunteer hours translate into free membership too!
Scott County Historical Society is located at 235 Fuller St. S, in Shakopee, two blocks north of the intersection of Co. Rd. 101 and Fuller St.
