Beat the heat this summer by cooling down at a Pop-Up Splash Pad at the Shakopee Community Center (1255 Fuller St., Shakopee) on July 20 and at
Green Meadows Park (3100 Thrush Street, Shakopee) August 10! The Parks and Recreation and Fire departments will be popping up at neighborhood parks this summer. Attendees can run through the spray of a fire hose, toss a few water balloons, and play fun water games.
The first Pop-Up Splash Pad will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 20 at the Community Center. The splash pad will take place in the Community Center's back parking lot. Attendees are asked to park in front of the Community Center or on Fuller Street.
