Law Day -- May 1,2019: Free walk-in legal clinics at the Scott County Government Center


Warrant Resolution Clinic, 10 AM - 12 noon:  Law Library

Is an active warrant keeping you from getting a job or place to live? Come see District Court Judge Christian S. Wilton and see if your warrant can be quashed and you can be given another court date.

 

Family Law Questions?  10 AM - 12 noon: Room 102

Have a brief consultation with SMRLS Attorney Amy Edwell  about divorce, custody, child support or any family law issue,


Employment Benefits/Medical/Social Security/Food Stamps/Housing Questions?  12 noon - 2 PM: Law Library

A brief consultation will be available with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) Staff Attorney Paul Onkka.


Criminal Expungement Clinic, 12 noon – 2 PM:  Room 102

Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) Staff Attorney will look at your criminal record and see if expungement will work for you. Please bring a copy of your criminal history.


Housing and Conciliation Court Clinic, 2 – 4 PM:  Law Library

Speak to SMRLS Attorney Sheena Thompson about tenant questions.
