Do you need to get away from spring cleaning and celebrate the season? Come visit the Scott County Historical Society on May 9 (the second Thursday of the month) for a new tour of the “Historic Stans House: Home is Where the Work Is.” Learn what it took manage a household in Scott County at the turn of the century, how work was divided, and what tools people used every day.
Two tours will run that evening: one at 6 PM and one at 7 PM. Tours cost $4, and include a free museum admission. SCHS members are free.. Register by calling SCHS at 952-445-0378.
