WHAT: The official groundbreaking celebration for the Intensive Residential Services Treatment facility in Savage!
Scott County, the City of Savage, and the Scott County Community Development Agency invites all members of the media to join local and regional officials, staff, and members of the community to commemorate the official groundbreaking for the Intensive Residential Services Treatment facility in Savage, Minnesota. This facility, when complete, will serve to fill a critical gap in the mental health continuum of available services for those experiencing mental health crises in our community. To be operated by GUILD, Inc., upon completion, this facility will the result of the combined efforts of Scott County, Savage, the Scott CDA, the Minnesota Legislature, GUILD, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, UrbanWorks, Shaw-Lundquist and Associates, and the Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency (SCALE).
The event will be hallmarked by remarks from Scott County Board Chair Barb Weckman Brekke, Mayor of Savage Janet Williams, and GUILD Executive Director Julie Bluhm.
