Meeting Objectives:
This event is for all community members to begin a conversation that allows us to:
Hear and share unique perspectives, strengths, and challenges experienced by individuals, children, and families across Scott County, and better understand our roles in this movement.
Have a shared understanding of the terms, concepts, and context associated with culture, race, ethnicity, and equity.
Understand and consider the impact a culturally and racially equitable community has on child and family wellbeing.
Address the importance of creating a community that works for all of its members and begin to consider the relationships and strategies that support this end.
Join us for dinner at 4:30 p.m. Complimentary, onsite child care will also be provided.
