Scott County Sheriff Luke Hennen is pleased to announce four local awardees of the Annual Minnesota Sheriff’s Association (MSA) Law Enforcement Scholarship.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office and the members offer their congratulations to Erik Eichstadt of Prior Lake, Daniel Long of Prior Lake, Julia Mahowald of New Market Township, and Caitlin Schumacher of Savage who were selected to each receive a $600 scholarship. All four of these scholarship recipients will be applying the award to further their education in law enforcement (Erik at Winona State University in Winona; Daniel at Mankato State University in Mankato; Julia at Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights; and Caitlin at Rasmussen College in Eagan).
The qualifications and academic excellence shown by Erik, Daniel, Julia, Caitlin, and the rest of the 22 scholarship awardees reflect the dedication and pride of the outstanding students in the State of Minnesota who will enter the difficult but rewarding profession of law enforcement and public service.
