[ARCHIVED] Scott County offers free webinar series to those looking for employment

Times are tough right now, particularly for our residents who are unemployed, underemployed, or worried about a future lay-off.  Scott County is here to help residents looking to make the most out of potential employment opportunities. In response to the challenges of today, we’ve partnered with Cat Breet and ARBEZ to bring you a special live webinar series offer at no cost to Scott County residents.  Any Scott County resident can sign up for one or all six of the webinars (plus an online course) – free.

The series begins on October 14 at 3:00 p.m., but enrollment is open now to learn about topics such as the Four Biggest Barriers to Success and How to Avoid Them; Transferrable Skills: Target Jobs and Resumes that Work; Get Past the Gatekeepers! Online Applications and Recruiters; Video Interviews: How to Prep, Show Up, and Follow Up; Money: Get a Better Offer and Negotiate for What You Want; and Ageism and Other Ugly Stuff: The Truth and What to Do About It.
