In 1819, Washington Irving published “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” the classic American story of Ichabod Crane and his adventure with a headless horseman. Explore the path of Ichabod, a superstitious schoolteacher, from his schoolhouse to his flight through the spooky woods. Decide for yourself if he really did encounter the mysterious horseman!
