[ARCHIVED] Early Literacy Classes & Storytimes Resuming

We are so happy to begin welcoming children and families back to in-person group early literacy classes and storytimes!

Children and their parents/caregivers are welcome to join us for our FREE and FUN story- and play-based early literacy classes that use the five important pre-reading practices of "Talking, Singing, Reading, Writing & Playing". Storytimes led by library staff trained in the Every Child Ready to Read curriculum are “early literacy classes" - all the fun and learning of storytime, but with tips and guidance on easy ways to help your child develop pre-reading skills.

Visit the library's COVID-19 page for current information on guidelines and services. For those who prefer not to attend group programs, we continue to offer Story Station early literacy programs by appointment.

Click here to find all available early literacy programs at your library. Please note that we are beginning the transition to in-person group programs; opportunities may be limited.
