[ARCHIVED] Sheriff Luke Hennen Sworn In

Sheriff Luke Hennen

. Hennen, a native of Jordan, has spent his entire 19 years in law enforcement with Scott County, beginning his tenure as a Corrections Officer before assuming the positions of Patrol Deputy, Detective, Sergeant, and Chief Deputy. The oath of office was administered by Judge Rex Stacey.

Following Sheriff Hennen’s official swearing in, he took a few moments to acknowledge the inspirational work of his predecessors (of which two, retired Sheriffs Kevin Studnicka and Bill Nevin, were in attendance), the excellent service provided by all of the Sheriff’s Office professionals, and his gratitude for the confidence of the Scott County Board. “I promise to work hard to earn your trust and respect in this humbling opportunity to serve as your Sheriff,” he concluded, after expressing his thanks to his wife Deborah and children Audra and Lucille.
