  2. Let’s talk 50 by 30

    October 29, 2019, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Shakopee Community Center

Our goal: Fifty percent of our local workforce living and working in Scott County by 2030. However, the labor shortage has created twice as many openings as we have job seekers. So, through a network of public/private partnerships, we’re building something totally new online. Jobs: In addition to listings, we’ll include expert advice and content to support job seekers. Employers can connect with candidates ready to make it happen. Homes: Live and work in Scott County? Heck, yeah! By sharing real estate trends and housing resources and so much more, job seekers see the benefit of our unique neighborhoods. Community: People told us about the lack of online community resources, such as volunteers and events. Everything comes together in one spot, making sure everyone’s activity calendar is full of things to do. Join us! We’re hosting an open house for businesses to learn more about how you can get involved. Contact: Barb at or Stacy at scrakes@sco
