How long before an appointment do I have to cancel before I will be charged?
The Scott County Mental Health Center’s cancellation policy is 24 hours ahead of any scheduled appointment.

What is the sliding fee?
The Scott County Mental Health Center offers a sliding fee for Scott County residents without insurance based on the Minnesota Department of Human Services Income and Eligibility and Fee Schedule. For Sliding fee questions please contact our Eligibility Specialists at 952-496-8624.

I have been a client here before, who should I call?
If you are a current client (seen within the last month) please contact our Scheduling Department for cancellations or rescheduling at 952-496-8476. If it has been more than a month please contact our Intake Department at 952-496-8481.

I have never been seen by the Mental Health Center before, who should call?
Contact our Intake Department for further information, or to schedule an appointment, at 952-496-8481.

Who do I contact about my medication and refills?
Current clients in Scott County Mental Health Center Psychiatry can contact the nurse at 952-496-8465 with medication questions. If you are not a current client, please start with your primary physician, or contact the Scott County Mental Health Center Intake at 952-496-8481, to begin the process.
